I took off work today because the carpet dudes were coming to install the new stuff in the back bedroom. My dad came over and helped me move big, heavy furniture after they were done since he's retired and can do that kind of stuff during the day now! It was fun to hang out with JUST my dad for the first time in a loooong time. I miss those days! He'll always be my hero!

This is what our living room looks like right now. Lovely, huh? We're getting carpet put in the bad bedroom tomorrow morning so we had to move everything out. Plus, everything is in disarray anyway!
Loaded up more stuff into the storage unit. We have way too much stuff! This is probably only 1/3 of the "fluff" we have to clear out!
I didn't take a picture of anything in particular today. Here's a picture of the envelope that contains all of our info about the storage facility we rented. Since we have to stage the house to sell, we have to take half the crap out!

I had to go to Joann's during lunch and when I was in the parking lot, I noticed my old car! Well, not MY old car, but I had one exactly like it. A Saturn SC2. Mine was the same orange as the one in the picture too! I loved that car!!! It was my "first" car, meaning my first car that I bought all on my own after college. I shed a tear or two when we traded it!
We didn't do much tonight and I didn't take a picture so I stole this from the interwebs. We watched TV. Chuck (as noted below by the Nerd Herd pic!) and the Bachelor. Yippee.
After church, we went to look at another home builder. We both LOOOOOOOVED it and I think we're going to pursue this avenue!! Here's (one of) my favorite parts of the model:

Happy Singles Awareness Day!! I hope all you singles enjoyed the day and I hope all you non-singles rubbed it in a singles face! :) I keed, I keed. Hey, I was single every Valentine's day of my life up until 2004 so I reserve the right to say whatever I want. Anyway, we spent all morning cleaning, then some time with the realtor (we're probably listing it in 2 weeks.. AHHHH!!!), then we went to look at some new home builders in S. FW. Didn't really see anything fabulous with the exception of this kitchen.
I am in love.
Friday the 13th!! I took off work at the last minute because we scheduled a realtor come to the house on Saturday and it needed to be cleaned and packed up before he came. Talk about a LONG day of hard work!
Anyway, I wiped my tears away and packed away my scrapbook stuff.... :( I don't even want to say how many buckets I filled (and how many I still need to fill...I have too much stuff!)
Anyway, I took pictures of some of my "organization" so I would remember where it all goes when I un-pack it someday.
Waiting on the storm and praying for no tornadoes!!! It's too early in the year to worry about those yet! :(

Our Sunday school class (plus some!) held a ladies luncheon today. Total blast! This is Brenda and me smilin' purdy!

This is the tunnel between the buildings at work. They have this super cool mural on the wall with all the geography of Texas. I have no idea why it's there, but it's pretty rad. I did some major power walking today down there, hence the picture!
