Day 120 (April 30)

Went to see PCA's production of Godspell with Mom tonight. Very good show! The ending wasn't as amazing as the one I was involved with 11 years ago at the school, but it was still very very good!

Day 119 (April 29)

We have a drainage canal running through our 'hood and when the weather is warm, you can always count on a handful of kids fishing in it, rain or shine. Oh to be a kid again! Rumor has it there ARE fish in there, but I don't know if anyone has actually caught anything. I should ask sometime! Anyway, I snapped these pics tonight as I was driving by

Day 118 (April 28)

I JUST trimmed my Oleander bush and it's already huge again. This stuff grows SO fast!! I totally dig it though

Day 117 (April 27)

While not the most productive way to spend an evening, this is how we spent ours. I forgot to take a picture, so this will have to do. We watched the season finale of Chuck, which was great, but I'm not sure how well this new direction is going to go... we'll see!

Then we watched Jack in action on 24. I loved how he went off on Janeane Garofalo's character. She's just annoying. Um, both the character and Janeane Garofalo.

Day 116 (April 26)

We were lazy today. After church, we came home and took a nap, the lounged around and finally watched Stardust. Pretty good movie!

Day 115 (April 25)

Busy day today. I had a bridal shower to go to for Ashley and Blake in the morning, then I went home and Josh and I went to the Cowtown Warbird Roundup at Meacham airport. I'm a sucker for airshows. It was really small, but it was still lots of fun



After the airshow, we went to the Dallas Museum of Art to see the King Tut exhibit. AWESOME. Well worth the money.



When we left the Tut exhibit, we went to Arlington to eat dinner with my parents then just hung out there for a while.

Great day, but man.... I'm beat.

Day 114 (April 24)

We went downtown tonight and met up with Matt and Jennifer. It was a GORGEOUS night... perfect for wandering downtown! We went and saw the new Fast and Furious movie, went to the water gardens, then just meandered through downtown.

Day 113 (April 23)

Saw this on the way to the store today and thought it was just amazing. I've always been one to look for shapes and animals and such in the clouds and this immediately struck me as being a dove coming out of heaven! Just a sweet reminder of the awesome God that we serve.

Tonight we rode the bike down to our favorite snow cone stand. I matched my snowcone to the bike :)

Now I can add pictures! This is Daniel and Emily's apartment after we got a hold of it while they were on their honeymoon. This is but one small glimpse... I'll have to post more on the regular blog :)

My dad, his sisters, and mom (my Nana) at the rehearsal dinner. This is the first time in like 15 years they've all four been together!

Day 106 (April 16)

My brother is getting married in two days!! AHHH!! Tonight I met his bride to be, her sisters, friend, and my sister at Uncle Julios for dinner. Carrie and I got brave and ate frog legs. They were surprisingly delicious, but I couldn't get past the fact that it was FROG.

Day 105 (April 15)

We went to a Tea Party in Ft. Worth. Really cool!

Day 104 (April 14)

Reported for jury duty again this morning. 3 jurors were missing so we waited... and waited... and waited some more. FINALLY around 11:45, they brought us into the court room and said that while we were waiting, the guy pled guilty and cut a deal to rat out his buddies so we didn't have to stay! Hooray! I'm really glad because as much as I wanted to sit on a jury, and still do, I am coming down with something and I feel like crap. And, the judge told us it was a capital murder trial that would last a week or more. I don't know that I could handle being a jury member on a murder trial. That would be really really hard. Anyway, the guy got 56 or 59 years in prision for it. I can't remember the exact number.

When I got home, I de-weeded our garden and found this:

A little bird egg! I can't find the nest so I have no idea where it came from. So sad. Anyway, it was pretty cool

Day 103 (April 13)

I reported for duty on Monday. Got my court assignment and have to go back on Tuesday morning.

Day 102 (April 12)

We planted an antique rose shoot under our kitchen windo and it has taken off BIG TIME. Here's one of the cute little roses.

Day 101 (April 11)

There is an awesome bluebonnet patch over in Grapevine that Josh, Carrie and I went to today. The air was so sweet! I never realized that bluebonnets smelled so good!

Day 100 (April 10)

Some of the fire damage from Friday. We drove by Saturday evening on our way to the Good Friday service, which was incredible.

Day 99 (April 9)

I obviously didn't take this picture, but it's what's on the news today so I stole it and am using it! The wind has been insane around here and a bunch of fires broke out today.

Day 98 (April 8)

One of my favorite things is seeing wildflowers on the side of the road. I haven't seen any bluebonnets yet, but then again, I haven't really looked for them. Perhaps this weekend I'll get a chance to find some.

We did some yard work today. We planted sheets! Love it?? Stupid Texas weather is predicting freezing temps so we had to cover all our flowers and veggies. We're just hoping the peaches survive!

We went to Pete's Piano Bar in downtown Ft. Worth tonight with my cousin Leah and her fiance, Jody. We had a great time!!

Day 92 (April 2)

I title this picture "Invisible Horse".



This picture is actually a total fail on my part. I totally missed the horse. Oh well.

On my drive home in the evenings, there is frequently a guy riding horseback on the side of the highway. It's incredibly random. I tried to snap a last second photo and obviously missed. I promise, there really was a guy riding a horse. Pinky promise.
