The snow yesterday was a bust... it snowed a lot, but they were teeny tiny flakes and they melted on impact. Oh well.

The forcast for tomorrow! Two more inches and we'll break the record for the snowiest winter ever!

Day 52 - February 21

It was completely gorgeous outside!! Got up to around 65. We went for a motorcycle ride out to Veteran's Park and wandered around the woods for a little bit.

Found a fabulous deal on some ribbon and got an offer to maybe sell some of my cards in the store! We shall see... I've got to get a bunch together to take up there and show them sometime..

I found capsule animals at Target today! Did anyone else play with these as a kid?? You put the little pill capsule in water and the animal emerges. I used to think they were fun. Josh had no idea what they were. He said they were probably something he saw on TV and thought it was dumb. Oh well.

Day 45 - February 14

Since our power was still out most of the day, and Josh had some studying and a test he needed to take for class, we headed up to Starbucks for a few hours to use their internet.

We were so SICK of being miserably cold. It was 45 degrees INSIDE the house at one point. That's ridiculous! Josh ended up driving to his parent's house to get their generator so we could plug in some heaters. About 45 minutes after he got back, the power finally came back on! Oh well, we don't care because we're finally warm!!

Day 44 - February 13

We STILL have no power! We lit a bunch of candles, used our camping light (battery operated! We're safe!) and our oil lamp. Sleeping wasn't too bad, but getting out of bed is miserable!

Day 43 - February 12

We still have no power! So, after going to La Mad for breakfast (mostly to sit by the warm fire for awhile) we drove out to to check out the house in the snow. Mom, Carrie, and Glenda went with us!

Day 42 - February 11

SO MUCH SNOW!!! We had record breaking snow today... definitely more than I've ever seen in DFW before! We got 9+ inches! Unreal! And, our power went out. Brr!

I spent all day feeling like crap with a migraine hangover so I went to bed early

Day 39 - February 8

Had a lovely migraine... My remedy: two Aleve and two Tylenol. Only semi-worked this time though. Bummer.

Day 38 - February 7

I took some pictures of a beautiful family on Saturday and spent Sunday afternoon and evening editing pictures.

Day 37 - February 6

I remember walking to 7-11 with my dad when I was little and he'd usually let me get one of these chocolate covered cherries when we were there. He always told me I had to finish it before we got home though so that no one else (Daniel and Carrie) would know I got one and they didn't. I remember taking the entire walk home to eat that tiny thing!

So, when Josh and I went into a gas station today and I saw them, I had to grab one. Chocolate covered memories!

Day 36 - February 5

We spent much of the day in Burleson/Joshua for a funeral today. Very sad, hard day. On our way home, we stopped by the house though and saw that they'd put in the AC.

Day 35 - February 4

Tried out the bag tonight. It didn't fall apart, so I guess that's a good sign!

Day 34 - February 3

The dryer went on strike so we headed to the Laundromat to dry all our clothes. One of these days I want to go shoot some pictures in a nice laundromat. I think there are some awesome shots to be had there!

Day 33 - February 2

Made some Zuppa Tuscana Soup for dinner. Fabulous! And, I got to buy kale. That was exciting.
